Founded by Jon Ball, Ball & Ball Farm Services have been established for over 30 years serving across the South West of England.
Previously, Jon had an agricultural contracting business for 10 years before pursuing a mechanical engineering and tyre repair service. Many customers were asking where to get their air conditioning fixed and as a result Jon decided to specialise in this area.
As you can imagine air conditioning repairs are a fairly seasonal sector of the business so keen to follow the continual development of modern technology we have spent time sourcing high quality parts and products and have introduced the supply and fitment of air brake systems on site and agricultural equipment for hire.
Through the hire of Kane trailers from Ireland, we have also now become Kane dealers for the South West of England. Kane Trailers are well known for their very high quality, innovative products which we believe to be the best trailers on the market today.
During spare time we have completed numerous restorations of rare and classic tractors from manufactures such as County, Muir Hill and International Harvester, several of which have been magazine featured. One tractor we still own and use today is our Deutz Intrac 6.60 Turbo which went through a full nut and bolt restoration over the course of five years, the finished result can be seen in use on our YouTube channel.
